F E A T U R E S

The Next Gen Blender project is an experimental project done in conjunction with the blender foundation. It is written to investigate a approach to building a future version of blender, and was first presented at the Blender conf in 2002

The basic idea is to build an back end plug-in interface for 3d functionality, and let multiple different front ends connect and use that functionality remotely. This is why this project consists of two apps, the back end (for now called "next gen blender") and a front-end (for now called connector)

I will continue to develop the applications and hope to soon present a api that others can start experiment with
